About The Position

This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their financial and HR processes, configuring Workday Financials and HCM modules to meet specific needs, and providing comprehensive support throughout the implementation lifecycle. The position requires a deep understanding of Workday functionality, strong analytical skills for gap analysis and solution design, and the ability to develop training materials and conduct user training. The ES Cloud SME will also work closely with cross-functional teams, stay updated on Workday enhancements, and participate in project management activities to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing scalable solutions, configuring modules like Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, and Time Tracking, conducting fit-gap analysis, and providing ongoing functional and technical support.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Workday Financials modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Procurement, Financial Reporting).
  • Experience in configuring Workday Financials modules.
  • Experience with testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct end-user training.
  • Experience providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday financial issues.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Workday releases, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Experience in project management activities and delivering project milestones.
  • Experience collaborating with HR leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience designing HR solutions using Workday.
  • Experience in configuration and implementation of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, Time Tracking).
  • Experience conducting fit-gap analysis.
  • Ability to develop and maintain system documentation (functional specifications, user guides, training materials).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, identify gaps, and provide solutions tailored to their financial processes and Workday functionality.
  • Configure Workday Financials modules (including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Procurement, and Financial Reporting) to meet client specifications.
  • Conduct testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide support during the implementation phase to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Develop training materials and lead training sessions for end-users to enhance user adoption of Workday Financials.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday financial issues post-implementation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration between Workday and other systems.
  • Stay updated with Workday releases, enhancements, and best practices to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Participate in project management activities and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand HR business processes, challenges, and objectives.
  • Design scalable and efficient HR solutions using Workday that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
