About The Position

The ES Assistant supports operational efficiency at UAB Medical West by carrying out daily tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role includes housekeeping in assigned patient-care and non-patient-care areas, supporting workflow improvements, and helping ensure that patients, visitors, and staff have a clean, safe, hazard-free environment. The position also involves monitoring equipment and inventory levels to help prevent disruptions and supporting compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Attention to detail for monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting issues to supervisors.
• Problem-solving abilities to identify and address challenges promptly.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in housekeeping or similar duties.
