About The Position

Kymera is undertaking a significant enterprise transformation initiative to replace its existing legacy ERP systems and processes with a unified global ERP system and standardized business processes. The SAP S/4HANA Workstream Lead Manufacturing role is a key position within Kymera’s IT Business Applications team, dedicated to the successful implementation of manufacturing and associated financial processes within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system. This role involves close collaboration with users in Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to plan and execute the SAP implementation. It also includes providing post-implementation support to ensure users are proficient, efficient, and compliant with standard processes and best practices in SAP. This role is crucial for Kymera's scalability, growth, and overall success, requiring global collaboration with IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams across all Kymera locations to understand current business operations and facilitate the transition from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA and standardized global processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Finance.
• Five years or more experience in manufacturing, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain processes in a multi-national business.
• Three years or more experience implementing manufacturing and procurement processes in SAP S/4HANA, including the Public Cloud edition.
• Advanced level core skills with SAP modules: Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management, and Manufacturing Execution processes.
• Cross module knowledge of SAP modules: Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Warehouse Management (WM), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Fiori apps.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience and proficiency in configuring and implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Experience supporting users ongoing to use, improve use and manage processes and operations with SAP.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and planning processes.
• Experience supporting make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), repetitive manufacturing, production orders, production confirmations, goods movements, and MRP.

Nice To Haves

• S/4HANA Public Cloud Certification.
• Working knowledge of SAP Product Costing and understanding of how manufacturing transactions impact financial results.
• Understanding of standard cost estimates, inventory valuation, work in process (WIP), production variances, settlement, cost component structures, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Experience with Event-Based Production Costing in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a plus.
• Experience in make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), repetitive manufacturing, production orders, MRP and both direct and indirect procurement for manufacturing.
• Fluency in German, Portuguese, Norwegian or other languages a major plus.
• Metal, chemical, powder metallurgy, or heavy manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience with APIs and knowledge of Extensibility options in public cloud.
• Works well with distributed, multicultural, multi-lingual teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of Kymera’s manufacturing line of business, including production planning, inventory management, procurement, shop floor operations, and product costing processes.
• Collaborate with users and partners during the discovery, prepare, and explore phases to review plans and deliverables, attend workshops, confirm processes, identify and resolve gaps/issues, and finalize scope.
• Manage construction and configuration, data migration, deployment to dev/test/prod environments, testing, user training, cutover activities, and go-live support.
• Support users in SAP operations post-implementation, conduct business process health reviews, perform process and system troubleshooting, and ensure the realization of system benefits and process standardization.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of Kymera business processes using the SAP S/4HANA system and AI capabilities.
• Align manufacturing-related processes with the SAP system, ensuring best practices are followed across make-to-order, make-to-stock, and repetitive manufacturing processes in collaboration with internal teams and plant operations.
• Support and optimize planning processes including demand planning, MRP, capacity planning, production scheduling, production order management, inventory planning, and material availability.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Finance teams to support product costing processes, understanding the impact of manufacturing transactions on inventory valuation, standard costing, work in process (WIP), production variances, settlement, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Align procurement-related processes with the SAP system, ensuring best practices are followed in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
