About The Position

We are looking for a motivated ERP Project Manager ready to take us to the next level! If you have experience being responsible for the management of one or multiple moderately complex projects concurrently; plans and performs analysis of company functions, processes, and activities and are looking for your next career move, apply now. We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead planning, implementation, and delivery of ERP and government operations projects while ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs. This position will be a full-time, 6-month contract and hybrid role requiring candidates to be onsite 3 to 4 days per week in Annapolis, Maryland.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in project management information technology public administration or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex IT projects
  • Experience implementing ERP systems
  • Strong experience analyzing business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions test cases and training materials
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing vendors and holding them accountable to contracts
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work onsite 3 to 4 days per week

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the public sector
  • Experience with ADP or ERP system implementations
  • Experience with change management system testing and end user training

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for the client ensuring vendor deliverables align with strategic goals and operational needs
  • Analyze and document business processes and public service workflows and translate them into project requirements
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation
  • Create cost estimates perform cost benefit analysis and track project financials
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Facilitate communication across stakeholders including business users IT teams and vendors
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Track and manage project issues and maintain accountability for resolution
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support user adoption
  • Provide regular project status reporting and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with end users to assess needs and improve workflows
