Responsable ERP et processus manufacturiers

International Visual CorporationMontreal, QC

About The Position

The incumbent in this position will have a strategic mandate for ERP turnaround and optimization. Reporting directly to the President and holding full executive backing, you will have the authority required to re-engineer workflows, dismantle parallel manual systems, and embed strict ERP usage deep into our day-to-day operations. If you understand custom manufacturing, love untangling complex processes, and possess the leadership skills to mobilize teams around standardized procedures, this role was built for you.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing ERP optimization, stabilization, or turnaround projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Genius ERP (or a similar manufacturing ERP).
  • Expertise in custom manufacturing: Solid understanding of Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Make-to-Order (MTO), or project-based management environments.
  • Operational fluency: You know how to read an engineering bill of materials (BOM), understand inventory control, and are capable of mapping a manufacturing routing.
  • Change management skills: You have the confidence to challenge the status quo (“we’ve always done it this way”), defuse user resistance, and drive engagement.
  • Communication: You are comfortable presenting project progress to senior executive leadership while maintaining a collaborative and respected presence on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Take Ownership of Genius ERP: Act as the internal expert and primary system architect. Audit current configurations against operational realities and collaborate with external Genius consultants to eliminate technical bottlenecks.
  • Standardize Workflows: Review the complete operational chain (from quotation to shipping). Eliminate duplicate data entry, manual steps, and software friction points that tempt users to bypass the ERP.
  • Establish Data Standards: Define clear data ownership within each department. Ensure the system is configured to block errors in bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and inventory counts before they occur.
  • Eliminate Parallel Systems: Systematically replace offline spreadsheets by designing simpler, faster, and more reliable processes directly within Genius ERP.
  • Strengthen Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with Production and Materials Management to stabilize scheduling. Help the team maintain accurate lead times and production capacities in Genius so that data drives true factory floor priorities.
  • Operationalize Job Costing: Work closely with Finance and Operations to ensure the ERP accurately tracks labor hours, material consumption, and subcontracted work. Build the foundation necessary for reliable, real-time job costing by project.
  • Build a Network of Champions: Instead of managing emergencies solo, identify, train, and mentor a "super user" in each key department to act as a local relay and expert.
  • Standardize Practices: Develop simple, visual Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and train both office and shop-floor personnel to ensure uniform system usage.
