ERP Manager - (In Office)
About The Position
The ERP Manager will own the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This role involves defining and maintaining the ERP roadmap in alignment with business goals and IT strategy, and leading cross-functional steering committees and working groups to prioritize ERP initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment. The manager will also oversee operational excellence, including system configuration, data integrity, and security protocols, and develop/enforce change management processes. A key aspect of the role is business partnership, collaborating with business units to understand requirements, translate them into ERP solutions, and identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and integration. Additionally, the ERP Manager will partner with BI and Data teams to ensure ERP data is accessible and actionable for reporting and analytics, monitor system performance, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study
- 5-6 years of experience
- 5+ years of ERP experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Strong understanding of core business processes (finance, supply chain, operations, etc.).
- Experience in a mid-to-large size organization with distributed teams and multiple business units.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central.
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and integrations with D365.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with ERP data migration, system integrations, and cloud-based deployments.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Define and maintain the ERP roadmap in alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
- Lead cross-functional steering committees and working groups to prioritize ERP initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Systems Analysts responsible for day-to-day ERP support, issue resolution, and user training.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for the ERP support team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Oversee ERP system configuration, data integrity, and security protocols.
- Develop and enforce change management processes, including documentation, testing, and approval workflows.
- Ensure timely resolution of ERP-related incidents and service requests, maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into ERP solutions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through automation, integration, and system enhancements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on ERP capabilities and limitations.
- Partner with BI and Data teams to ensure ERP data is accessible and actionable for reporting and analytics.
- Monitor system performance and usage metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on ERP health, roadmap progress, and business impact.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
