About The Position

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Lead will design, configure, analyze, and support SAP for equipment, production and manufacturing, and plant maintenance business processes at the company’s nuclear fuel manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for leading the SAP configuration workstream in the areas of scope, translating business requirements into SAP configuration, and supporting end users. The Lead serves as the SAP subject matter expert for equipment, production, and plant maintenance, delivering hands on configuration and analysis and providing recommendations to leadership on design decisions. This role ensures the configured system supports compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Energy (DOE), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Nuclear Quality Assurance Level 1 (NQA-1), and related regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience configuring and supporting SAP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading SAP configuration for a functional workstream or module area.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) modules, including equipment master data.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP configuration.
  • Experience developing and executing test scripts for SAP configuration changes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, energy, or similarly regulated industries strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Configure SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules to support equipment, production, and maintenance business processes.
  • Design and maintain equipment master data structures, functional locations, work centers, bills of material, and routings.
  • Document configuration decisions, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Gather and document business requirements from Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality stakeholders.
  • Analyze requirements against standard SAP capabilities, identifying gaps and recommending resolution approaches.
  • Translate business requirements into SAP configuration designs for review and approval.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test scripts for SAP configuration changes.
  • Lead cutover and post deployment stabilization activities for the areas in scope.
  • Provide functional support and training for end users of SAP equipment, production, and plant maintenance capabilities.
  • Ensure SAP configuration and documentation support compliance with NRC, DOE, ITAR, NQA-1, 10 CFR 70, and related regulatory domains.
  • Maintain accurate configuration documentation and change records to support audit readiness.
