About The Position

At Cretex, manufacturing excellence is at the core of what we do. We are seeking a Business Analyst who understands that a great ERP system is the backbone of a successful shop floor. This isn't just a "support" role—you will be the functional architect of our Epicor Kinetic environment, ensuring our end-to-end operations—from the moment an order is placed to the moment it ships—are seamless, automated, and efficient.

Requirements

  • Proven experience configuring and supporting Epicor Kinetic.
  • You understand inventory flow, warehouse management (WMS), and production planning.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and the Epicor DMT.
  • You are comfortable navigating databases and visualizing data using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • You don’t just fix bugs; you find the root cause and optimize the process to prevent them from happening again.
  • The ability to explain technical workflows to a Shop Foreman or a CEO with equal clarity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments.
  • Project Management experience or certifications (PMP, ScrumMaster, or Epicor certifications).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the functional health of our "Order to Cash," "Procure to Pay," and "Plan to Produce" workstreams.
  • Partner with production, warehouse, and supply chain leads to translate operational pain points into elegant technical solutions within Epicor Kinetic.
  • Use the Epicor DMT (Data Management Tool) and SQL to manage complex data migrations, system upgrades, and integrations that keep our production lines moving.
  • Act as the vital link between the shop floor, the warehouse, and the IT development team, ensuring technology never stands in the way of output.
  • Lead the testing and validation of new features, ensuring our inventory, warehouse management, and production scheduling data is 100% reliable.
  • Develop clear, user-friendly documentation and provide hands-on training that turns our staff into confident Epicor users.
  • Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, document, and refine business requirements, while analyzing current business processes and workflows to identify and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Design, build and implement software solutions that address identified business needs and requirements.
  • Configure the ERP system to meet operational business process needs.
  • If needed, utilize development tools, programming languages, and databases to create custom applications or modify existing systems.
  • Expert in upgrades, DMT tool, and business process integration delivering ERP configurations aligned with manufacturing operation process needs.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate software solutions against business requirements.
  • Perform data validation and follow quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify and resolve software defects and issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional design specifications, technical design specifications, and user training.
  • Maintain accurate records of system changes and updates.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Present findings, progress, and proposed solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
