Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial ergonomics, preferably within manufacturing or related sectors.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Movement Science, Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomics, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles, presentations, and professional documentation.
• Proficiency in ergonomic analysis tools including NIOSH guidelines, Liberty Mutual Tables, ACGIH HAL-TLV, RULA, REBA, and Digital Human Modeling software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the U.S., with potential for global assignments.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Candidates for this role with Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application, without sponsorship. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP), Associate Ergonomist (AE), or Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducting physical demands and ergonomic risk analyses for diverse industries and work environments.
• Utilizing ergonomic assessment tools and digital human modeling software to perform in-depth analyses and generate detailed client reports.
• Identifying, prioritizing, and recommending effective solutions to mitigate ergonomic risks.
• Leading specific project teams and contributing to the development of ergonomic standards and specifications.
• Engaging closely with clients to communicate findings and drive continuous improvement in workplace ergonomics.
