PRN Days & Nights ED Technician
About The Position
We are seeking a PRN ER Technician to join our team to help deliver high quality care to our patients. The ER Technician will help provide patient centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the ER Technician will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the ER Technician’s skills/training and the needs of the department. The ER Technician will assist the nursing staff in obtaining and recording patient information such as admission data, vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, and other patient information as outlined by policy.
Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED
- BLS (for EMT-Basic)
- BLS/ACLS/PALS (for Paramedic)
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B)
- Emergency Medical Technician Advanced (AEMT)
- Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMT-P)
Responsibilities
