About The Position

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an ER Tech to join our Emergency Room team! This is a Per Diem position with 12-hour shifts, rotating, every other weekend, and rotating holidays required, based on department needs. An Emergency Care Technician, under the direction and supervision of the nurse, performs selected patient care tasks and other duties. They follow detailed and specific instructions, and matters not covered are verified with the nurse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS certification
• State-level or nationally registered CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P license is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed as a CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P
• State-level or nationally registered certifications

Responsibilities

• Performs selected patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of the nurse.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Verifies matters not covered by instructions with the nurse.
