About The Position

The Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) assists professional nursing staff and physicians with providing emergency treatment to patients of all ages. The role documents care delivered accurately and promptly in the electronic health record. It is a patient care support role focused on providing essential assistance and comfort to patients. The position is full-time, nights, at West Boca Medical Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of an EMT course.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Florida EMT license.
• Healthy Interventions required within three months of hire.
• Excellent human relations and oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
• Completion of a CNA course preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
