About The Position
The ER Technician is responsible for delivering patient care in the Emergency Center under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This is a modified full-time position on the night shift, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with benefits. Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a full-service, nonprofit Catholic hospital sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Paramedic license required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to cross-train on the desk.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate from a paramedic and/or EMT school preferred.
- Previous hospital experience is a plus.
