ER Registered Veterinary Technician, Per Diem, Uintah
About The Position
Uintah Pet Emergency is seeking an experienced ER Registered Veterinary Technician with strong leadership skills to join their dedicated, team-oriented environment. The hospital is committed to exceptional patient care and client service, equipped with cutting-edge diagnostics, a modern surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy. The role involves assisting doctors in critical tasks such as IV catheter placement, blood draws, IV fluid management, diagnostics, supportive therapies, surgical scrub, anesthesia monitoring, post-operative patient monitoring, and accurate documentation and client communication.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT)
- At least 1 year of emergency experience (preferred)
- Dedicated to providing outstanding client service and excellent patient care

- Adaptability—individuals willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best patient and client experience
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required
- Safe patient restraint
- Phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Radiology safety and technique knowledge
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring
- Fluid management expertise
- Medication administration (Sub-q, IV, IM)
