About The Position

Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida is seeking technicians to join our growing team in Central Florida. We are looking for a hospital where you can put your technical skills to good use and continue to grow your education and skill level. VEC is a well-known, and highly respected small animal emergency practice with multiple locations throughout Central Florida. Our exceptional facilities are equipped with cutting edge equipment.

Requirements

2 year minimum hands on experience as a technician
Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting

Nice To Haves

ER Experience Preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Ability to remain calm and focused
Ability to use appropriate and safe restraint
Knowledge of receiving, treating, discharging of patients
Ability and knowledge of sample collecting, IVC placement, surgical monitoring, hands on technical skills of a veterinary technician
