About The Position

A 220+ bed acute care hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a skilled ER RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department. This role supports patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements

• 1+ year of recent Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED acute care experience
• Florida RN License and/or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license)
• RN Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Certifications (must be obtained within specific timeframes): BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 90 days, PALS within 90 days, ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) within 6 months, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages
• Develop individualized care plans with expected outcomes
• Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously, prioritizing care needs
• Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate necessary referrals
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital departments to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
