About The Position
This role involves providing comprehensive emergency medical services in a 54-bed state designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, treating more than 60,000 patients per year.
Requirements
- 2 years of ER experience; consideration given to those with 18 months
- Holds an ASN degree and valid RN license (AL or Compact)
- Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Willingness to float to other units and hospitals
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient status and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
