About The Position
A leading healthcare facility in Clifton Springs, NY is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join its fast-paced Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency nursing care, respond effectively in critical situations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active New York RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- PALS Certification required
- NIHSS Certification required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel rate
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to emergencies and changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
