About The Position

Our Nashville-based team covers multiple subsectors in healthcare and the life science supply chain, including managed care, contract research organizations, contract manufacturing organizations and related. Responsibilities will include: Working underneath publishing analysts to cover the pharma services subsector. Understanding the global drug development and commercialization landscape and, by extension, the services and IT vendors to that process Building, maintaining, analyzing and forecasting “3-statement” financial models Identifying and building models around pharma services KPIs, such as funding, study starts, bookings, pricing, and AI impacts Identifying correlations and predictive indicators of covered company fundamental performance Transforming complicated datasets into compelling graphics Monitoring, digesting and synthesizing industry and company news and communicating implications to senior team members and investor clients Assisting with research reports, earnings analyses, and industry/company news Interfacing with company management teams, internal sales/trading personnel, and institutional investors Identifying and cultivating relationships with relevant industry experts and executives to identify corporate access events including company non-deal roadshows, conferences, summits, and expert interactions (some travel may be required) Working in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Healthcare services experience with a particular emphasis on pharma outsourcing.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Clear and concise written/oral communication skills.
  • Fast learner, self-starter, detail-oriented.
  • Able to learn and work independently with limited direction.
  • Able to communicate project progress and findings timely and effectively.
