Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Research Associate for its Regional Banks and Specialty Finance Equity Research team located in New York, NY. Primary Responsibilities: Ideal candidate will be proactive, high energy, and able to work effectively within a highly productive team. The candidate should possess excellent excel skills, knowledge of finance and accounting, expertise in working with AI tools, and superior writing skills. A strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly is essential. Candidates with a strong background in finance & accounting are encouraged to apply. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Develop and update financial models efficiently Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies Execute proprietary research projects that generate impactful stock calls Assist with client requests & inquiries Idea generation Maintain databases and create tables and charts Leverage AI to improve efficiency & productivity of the team/product Participate in company management calls and conferences Track relevant news articles relaying important messages to the team Closely follow industry and economic data Specific Qualifications: 2-3 years of Equity research experience is ideal Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Background in finance and accounting Strong modeling / excel / AI capabilities Superior writing skills Interest in stocks Initiative, drive and motivation to learn Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish broader goals and objectives Capable of handling multiple responsibilities Ability to meet deadlines Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends when needed Detail-oriented

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Equity research experience is ideal
