About The Position

We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious individual to join our Equity Research team as a Research Assistant. This role involves preparing expense reports, managing senior analyst travel and schedules, coordinating meetings, updating client contacts, and creating/editing presentations and reports. The position also requires developing expertise in internal policies, assisting with administrative duties, identifying operational risks, and complying with firm policies.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong interest in the financial markets and equity research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment.
  • Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients
  • Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Able to take initiative, problem-solve, and be resourceful to find solutions

Responsibilities

  • Prepare expense reports using a web-based reporting system.
  • Manage and coordinate senior analyst travel arrangements, meeting schedules and corresponding materials.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conference calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain client contacts in CRM databases.
  • Create, edit and format PowerPoint Presentations, correspondence and reports for internal and external clients, requiring a high degree of comfort with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Develop expertise in internal policies and procedures.
  • Other administrative duties and projects across the equity research group, as assigned.
  • Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business.
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.
  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly.
