About The Position

We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious individual to join our Equity Research team as a Research Assistant. This role involves supporting senior analysts with various administrative and operational tasks, including preparing expense reports, managing travel and meeting arrangements, updating client databases, and creating presentations. The position requires a strong interest in financial markets, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong interest in the financial markets and equity research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment.
  • Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients
  • Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Able to take initiative, problem-solve, and be resourceful to find solutions

Responsibilities

  • Prepare expense reports using a web-based reporting system.
  • Manage and coordinate senior analyst travel arrangements, meeting schedules and corresponding materials.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conference calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain client contacts in CRM databases.
  • Create, edit and format PowerPoint Presentations, correspondence and reports for internal and external clients, requiring a high degree of comfort with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Develop expertise in internal policies and procedures.
  • Other administrative duties and projects across the equity research group, as assigned.
  • Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business.
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.
  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly.
