About The Position

Truist Securities’ Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Analyst Program is designed for individuals who have completed a BA/BS degree and are scheduled to graduate in December 2026 or May/June 2027. This program begins with an intensive seven-week classroom instruction period covering capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling. Following this training, Analysts join an ECM product group to support senior investment banking professionals. The program offers exposure to various investment banking and capital markets disciplines, aiming to sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and provide on-the-job training with investment banking products. Analysts will play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients within the Equity Capital Markets group, with opportunities to interact with other investment bank divisions. The Equity Capital Markets team originates, structures, and executes equity capital raising transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, equity-linked products, share repurchases, and at-the-market offerings. Analysts assist senior bankers in assessing market strength, investor targeting, supporting live deals, and developing client pitch materials. This is typically a two-year position, with a potential for an additional year. This requisition is specifically open to 2026 Truist Interns only.
