About The Position

This Director level role is a senior-level equity advisory sales role responsible for delivering Citi’s healthcare advisory resources (with a focus on biotech) to the healthcare dedicated account base. The role partners closely with the Healthcare Sector Specialist and Citi’s Healthcare & Biotech Banking franchise to provide coordinated, high‑impact client engagement across Markets and Banking.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of equity advisory sales experience, with dedicated healthcare/biotech client coverage
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and biotech fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and monetize advisory‑led opportunities across equity products
  • Strong existing institutional client relationships
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, life sciences, or related academic background preferred
  • Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Client Coverage & Advisory: Own senior‑level relationships with healthcare and biotech investment decision‑makers. Deliver differentiated advisory engagement across sectors, themes, and transactions.
  • Franchise Connectivity: Partner closely with Healthcare Specialist Sales and Banking to ensure aligned coverage and prioritization. Act as a central point of coordination for research, corporate access, and banking engagement.
  • Commercial Execution: Identify and convert advisory‑driven opportunities across cash equities, blocks, derivatives, prime, and ECM. Drive sustained revenue growth through deeper client penetration and solution‑oriented engagement.
  • Resource Optimization: Translate client needs into targeted deployment of internal expertise and platforms.
  • Represent Citigroup’s advisory, execution, financing, derivatives, and banking capabilities at a senior client level.
  • Build, deepen, and share relationships across institutional clients and internal partners.
  • Develop and scale high‑quality client franchises from onboarding through long‑term ownership.
  • Maintain strong governance, controls, and risk discipline.
  • Work in close partnership with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Finance.
  • Uphold Citi’s standards on conduct, supervision, and responsible finance.
  • Ensure full adherence to Citi policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.
  • Exercise sound judgment in assessing risk, reward, and reputational considerations.
