The Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department. The job requires the ability to perform essential duties safely, with other duties potentially assigned. This includes walking and standing for long periods, responding to hospital staff, cleaning and disinfecting equipment using approved disinfectants, reading par sheets and inventory levels, adhering to hospital policies and infection control processes, obtaining supplies, operating a pushcart, maintaining daily upkeep of the assigned area, reporting incidents, complying with safety rules, performing work in a team, handling repetitive tasks, maintaining a clean work area, following protocols, taking direction, communicating professionally, filling in during staff shortages, supporting shift leads, using personal protective equipment, presenting a professional appearance, understanding customer service, and understanding reporting systems.
