About The Position

The Respiratory Care Equipment Attendant will be responsible for the cleaning, distribution, and storage of Respiratory care equipment. This includes the cleaning and assembly of invasive and non-invasive ventilation equipment. The role also involves performing compressed gas cylinder rounds, and delivering and picking up large pieces of Respiratory Care equipment in patient care areas. Additionally, the attendant will put away stock after delivery from the storeroom, aid in monitoring par levels, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 Years of Position-Related Experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience concerning the assembly of equipment used in providing Respiratory care services.
• Experience in the cleaning and assembly of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilator systems.
• Working knowledge of compressed gas tank cylinder safety and transport.

Nice To Haves

• Junior College/Technical School is preferred.
