Equipment Specialist| Active Secret Clearance Required
About The Position
Loch Harbour Group is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to support inventory operations and field activities within a U.S. Navy environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting inventory-related equipment including barcode scanners, label printers, and associated inventory devices used in warehouse and property accountability operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities, hands-on operational experience, and a customer-service mindset to support end users and field inventory teams across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a business or technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis
- Significant experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
- Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA
Responsibilities
- Maintaining label printers, barcode scanners, and inventory devices
- Troubleshooting and resolving device issues impacting inventories
- Supporting how devices are used in inventory processes with basic Navy ERP familiarity
- Providing hands-on, customer-service orientation with end users
- Training others on the use of scanners/devices
- Deploying/scaling scanning solutions across mixed environments
- Supporting field teams and going out on site to keep equipment operational during inventories
