About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Provide senior-level equipment specialist support for the regeneration, conversion, and modification of AMARG-stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft for operational and target programs. Support technical services for F-16 avionics systems, subsystems, and associated programs, while also assisting with mechanical system issues as required. Monitor, track, and prepare Technical Order (TO) changes (TCTOs) necessary to correct deficiencies including operating instructions, overhaul procedures, repairs, and aircraft modifications. Assist with preparation of AFMC Form 873 for TO changes, corrections, and updates, including review and correction of parts lists and modification kit requirements. Support and accomplish spares provisioning activities, interfacing with inventory managers across DoD agencies to identify requirements and support funding coordination. Provide assistance in troubleshooting avionics systems and developing improvements to resolve issues identified with fielded and fielding systems. Serve as technical content manager for assigned avionics systems and Technical Orders, supporting establishment of requirements and preparation of TCTOs and TOs for field and depot-level maintenance. Perform technical data verification as a member of technical verification teams and pre-/post-publication review groups to ensure technical accuracy and proper sequencing. Coordinate and participate in program management, leadership, and review meetings as required. Provide guidance and oversight to junior and journeyman equipment specialist personnel. Required Qualifications Demonstrated advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized expertise in aircraft equipment and avionics systems. Ability to independently perform complex technical tasks and oversee junior and journeyman personnel. Extensive experience supporting F-16 aircraft maintenance, modification, or sustainment activities. Experience working within a DoD program office or sustainment environment. Education & Certification Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, at least five of which must be in the DoD, OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, at least five of which must be in the DoD, OR A minimum of 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, at least eight of which must be in the DoD. Clearance Requirement - Active Secret security clearance required. - U.S. citizenship required. Requirements

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized expertise in aircraft equipment and avionics systems.
