About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Serve as a senior technical authority for F-16 avionics systems, providing advanced expertise and oversight. Provide assistance in troubleshooting avionics systems and developing improvements to resolve fielded and fielding system issues. Support avionics systems including radar, controls and displays, data bus, communications, navigation, identification, electronic warfare, and sensor systems. Act as the technical content manager for assigned avionics systems and Technical Orders (TOs). Assist in establishing requirements and preparing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and TOs. Support verification, inspection, repair, and testing of complete weapon systems. Participate in technical verification teams and publication reviews. Oversee and guide junior and journeyman contractor personnel. Required Qualifications Senior-level avionics expertise. Minimum of 10 years of F-16 aircraft maintenance experience. Experience in avionics development, integration, and sustainment. Demonstrated experience in a DoD environment. Education & Certification - Master’s or Doctoral degree with 10 years of experience (5 in DoD), OR - Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience (5 in DoD), OR - 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications (8 in DoD). Clearance Requirement - Active Secret clearance - U.S. citizenship required. Requirements

  • Senior-level avionics expertise.
