Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement or contracting support.
  • Ability to work independently while applying established procurement procedures and processes.
  • Minimum of three years of procurement or contracting-related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, acquisition, or a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, OR A minimum of five years of directly related procurement or contracting experience with appropriate certifications.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD or Air Force contracting activities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and procurement services support to Contracting Officers (COs).
  • Support price and cost evaluation activities (no negotiation authority).
  • Assist with contract close-out actions.
  • Perform data collection, compilation, and analysis in support of procurement actions.
  • Provide clerical, administrative, and office operations support to the contracting office.
  • Support procurement-related training activities, including use of ConWrite, document preparation, and pricing support.
  • Utilize contracting systems including ConWrite, SAM.gov, EDA, FPDS-NG, and Air Force Data Services.
  • Assist in ensuring procurement actions comply with FAR, DFARS, DAFARS, Mandatory Procedures (MP), and Informational Guidance (IG).
  • Maintain procurement documentation and records in accordance with applicable regulations.
