About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Support and participate as a member of the F-16 Configuration Control Process (CCP), which controls changes to the F-16 weapon system. Assist in receiving, tracking, and distributing Configuration Management (CM) documentation for CCP processes, including JMCCT/B, Modification Screening Panels (MSP), and Fielding Decisions (FD). Review CM proposals for adequacy, proper format, and completeness, including updating the Single Thread Tracking System (STTS) as required. Perform F-16 CCP secretariat roles, including preparing review packages, distributing materials, and consolidating comments. Support and document CCP and Technical Review (TR) meetings, prepare detailed meeting minutes, track action items, and monitor resolution of outstanding tasks. Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure CM processes and procedures are properly addressed and adhered to. Assist with configuration control of Temporary T-1 and T-2 modifications in accordance with AFI 63-131. Maintain official configuration control records, including CCP documentation, ECPs, and Organizational Change Requests (OCRs). Support management of configuration changes using the Viper Change Management (VCM) tool and assist with account access, training, and system coordination. Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), including preparation, documentation review, and audit participation. Required Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge and experience in configuration management or fighter aircraft maintenance. Ability to work independently while applying established CM procedures and processes. Experience supporting DoD acquisition or sustainment programs. Fighter aircraft maintenance or F-16 configuration management experience preferred. Education & Certification - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective discipline, three of which must be in the DoD, OR - Seven years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, five of which must be in the DoD. Clearance Requirement - Active Secret security clearance required. - U.S. citizenship required. Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in configuration management or fighter aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently while applying established CM procedures and processes.
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition or sustainment programs.
