About The Position
The School of Communication houses ten majors and ten minors. Many School of Communication courses require video and audio equipment to be checked out to complete assignments for class. The Equipment Room Assistant will gain a deeper understanding and knowledge on communication equipment, while improving communication skills.
Requirements
- Experience with the NQSC video and audio equipment
- Must have a positive attitude
- Able to work well with other students and staff
- Detail oriented to ensure no equipment is lost or misplaced
Nice To Haves
- Must have a minimum 2.5 overall GPA
Responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment is checked out/in according to NQSC procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment room
- Escalate any equipment issues to appropriate NQSC staff
- Other duties as assigned
