Equipment Rental Specialist
About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist for an inside sales role. This position supports telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment. The role is the primary contact with the customer, responsible for understanding their needs, negotiating, and placing orders. It also requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to ensure customer satisfaction. The role offers opportunities for skill development in outside sales or operational management, steady hours with potential overtime, and the chance to work with a great team.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
- Previous equipment rental industry experience
- Strong customer service & telephone skills
- Solid computer and administrative skills
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations
