Proline Rentals & Bins is a trusted multi-location equipment rental company that is proudly local, with locations in Orillia, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, and Parry Sound. We’re known for our friendly service, reliable equipment, and hardworking team. Now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Equipment Rental Clerk to join our crew in Parry Sound. If you’ve got a knack for customer service, love talking tools, and want to work somewhere that actually values your time — this could be the perfect fit.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and a helpful, positive attitude
- A team-first mindset — willing to jump in wherever help is needed and work with honesty and integrity
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work
- Solid understanding of heavy and light equipment (e.g. lawn tractors, post-hole diggers, rototillers)
- Comfortable learning and using rental software (Point of Rental experience is a plus)
- Professional and friendly phone presence
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills
Nice To Haves
- Point of Rental experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls professionally and take accurate messages
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers with rental needs and product questions
- Recommend appropriate tools and equipment based on customer projects
- Look up and prepare rental agreements using our Point of Rental system
- Complete rental contract and related transactions, collecting payments, as required
- Keep organized and detailed records of all rentals
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked rental environment
- Deliver excellent customer service — in person, on the phone, and via email
