A day in this role Clock in at 6:00 a.m. and step onto a floor where your craftsmanship keeps production moving. You’ll diagnose issues quickly, perform basic troubleshooting, and apply hands-on skills—from welding (MIG, gas, torch) and basic plumbing to work on A/C and D/C electrical systems. Expect to service basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems, operate machine shop equipment like drill presses, lathes, and saws, and use testing equipment safely and correctly. You’ll work with motors and motor starters, read electrical schematics, and document work in the SAP maintenance module. Throughout the day, you’ll switch seamlessly between independent tasks and team projects, uphold a clean, safe workspace, and follow standardized work instructions. You’ll practice Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain strict adherence to GMP, SOP, environmental, and safety procedures. And when priorities change, you’re ready— other duties come with the territory.
