About The Position

Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking an industrial equipment-focused technician to join their team. This role primarily involves cleaning parts and may also include building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plasma reactors. The technician will work with process engineers and maintenance technicians locally, and collaborate with engineers globally. The main goal is to maximize plant productivity by enhancing equipment capabilities and resolving issues on the production line. This position is available for either a Graveyard shift (6:00 pm-6:00 am) or a Swing shift (01:00 pm - 01:00 am). The job is hands-on, requiring installation and maintenance of tools in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills such as data entry in spreadsheets, filling out online checklists, and maintaining a safe working environment on and around the production floor.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year technical degree, certificate, or military technical background in mechanical, electrical, equipment, systems, or other related fields.
  • Assembly and troubleshooting high vacuum systems, including leak detection.
  • Experience troubleshooting a variety of electrical and mechanical systems from three-phase AC power to low-voltage DC board-level signals.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning plasma reactors and focusing on quality.
  • Installing, upgrading, and maintaining plasma reactors (CVD tool).
  • Troubleshooting industrial control/electrical systems including high-voltage power supplies, controllers, sensors, pumps, PLCs, valves, and other devices.
  • Planning and executing upgrades and retrofits to improve tool reliability and process capabilities.
  • Working on multidisciplinary teams to solve complicated problems.
