About The Position

We are hiring an Equipment Operator – Flight Line Ground Support Equipment to support aircraft flight line operations by transporting large stands and ground support equipment in an outdoor aerospace environment. This role requires experience operating heavy equipment, working independently and as part of a team, and communicating effectively via radio while supporting safe and efficient flight line operations.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (such as vocational training or an Associate degree).
Typically 1 or more years of related experience operating heavy equipment or supporting industrial, aviation, manufacturing, or flight line operations.
Experience operating heavy equipment in an outdoor work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively using two-way radio systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work outdoors for the majority of the workday in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment to transport large stands and ground support equipment across the flight line.
Support daily flight line operations while maintaining safe equipment handling practices.
Perform work primarily outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Coordinate equipment movements and operational activities using radio communications.
Work independently to complete assigned tasks while collaborating with teammates to support operational objectives.
Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines while working around aircraft and support equipment.
