About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Operator, reporting to the foreman, is responsible for ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. This role involves following project specifications and timelines, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Valid operator certification and driver’s license.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and markings.
• Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and compactors.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow site plans, markings, and instructions to carry out tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site crew to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
• Comply with all safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or site hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Support the growth and development of company culture.
• Perform other duties as required.
