As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.
Requirements
- Two year’s experience in the operation of mechanical equipment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to take appropriate safe action on their own initiative to prevent equipment damage or injury to personnel during emergencies or unusual situations.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect forklifts, roll off truck, yard truck, shredder, excavator, loaders and skid steer.
- Material handler.
- Manage the safe operation of the site’s equipment in the assigned areas.
- Conduct daily motorized machinery inspections on the site’s equipment.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management including plant operations.
