As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.

Requirements

  • Two year’s experience in the operation of mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to take appropriate safe action on their own initiative to prevent equipment damage or injury to personnel during emergencies or unusual situations.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate and inspect forklifts, roll off truck, yard truck, shredder, excavator, loaders and skid steer.
  • Material handler.
  • Manage the safe operation of the site’s equipment in the assigned areas.
  • Conduct daily motorized machinery inspections on the site’s equipment.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management including plant operations.
