Taylor DM Brands, formerly known as Amsterdam Printing, is looking for a 2nd Shift Equipment Operator to join the team at our Amsterdam, NY, facility! Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
High degree of mechanical ability
Good reading ability.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Prepare, operate and adjust assigned machinery to specifications per customer work order
Maintain a clean and safe work area and prepare for the next user
Produce product to specifications by following all processes and procedures
Performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
Visually inspect product throughout run for quality
Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
