About The Position

Ingram Content Group is hiring Equipment Operators for its Lightning Source team in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The role supports production operations by operating equipment safely and efficiently to meet production-volume, quality, and safety standards. Operators replenish raw materials, report equipment issues to a lead operator or specialist, and adapt to workflow needs while working collaboratively and maintaining dependable attendance. The position requires the ability to maintain a full-time schedule during normal company operating hours. Available schedules are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday, or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday; both schedules run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of continuous work experience.
Ability to speak, write, and read English.
Detail orientation, good verbal communication, and a strong customer-satisfaction orientation.
Dependable, consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule during normal company operating hours.
Ability to communicate courteously in person, by telephone, and electronically, and to actively listen to coworkers, management, and customers.
Ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond sensitively and creatively to changing needs and situations.
Ability to apply new knowledge, technology, and procedures to job responsibilities and meet performance standards.
Ability to perform the listed physical and computer-related job activities, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment, including black-and-white printers, binders, and cutters, to meet shift production volume and safety and quality standards in the LSI operating manual.
Re-supply raw materials in a timely manner while operating production equipment.
Notify a lead operator and/or specialist when equipment is not operating effectively.
Adapt and multitask according to workflow demands.
Maintain attendance and performance objectives and work cooperatively with coworkers, management, and customers.
