Requirements

• Proven experience operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, forklifts, and yard trucks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive in work ethic.
• Previous experience in operating heavy machinery (excavators, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts to move materials and perform tasks within the yard.
• Safely operate a yard truck in a backup capacity when necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and tires throughout the yard.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and machinery safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assist with other yard operations as needed.
