About The Position
Responsible for the care and maintenance of the golf course and surroundings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Valid TN Driver’s License
- Walking and standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time (more with assistance)
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in a safe responsible manner.
- Perform daily maintenance such as cup changing, divot repair, moving tee markers, etc.
- Mow greens, tees, fairways and rough upon completion of training.
- Mechanically rake and/or hand rake bunkers.
- Operate small equipment such as sod cutters, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers.
- Assist with special projects such as drainage, irrigation, and sod laying.
- Clean, plant, and maintain landscaped areas.
- Daily equipment maintenance including adding and/or checking fluid, oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, and tire pressure. Daily equipment cleaning. Responsible for reporting equipment problems to equipment mechanic.
- Report an irregularities in the courses turf quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
