This position will report to the Supervisor and is a Full Time - Temporary role on the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am) with a pay range of $20.00-22.00/Hr. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven, reliable work history.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions.
  • Proven experience operating machinery.
  • Mechanical knowledge of automated machines and tools.
  • Ability to repair minor mechanical issues on machines and systems.
  • Experience conducting quality tests and analyzing data.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years’ experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar production environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating daily production needs with supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work.
  • Assisting in operating the Beverage Plant equipment.
  • Monitoring and logging equipment values and parameters to include temperature and pressure gauges, indicators, and meters.
  • Tracking correct materials for all production requirements.
  • Unloading and preparing ingredients for daily processing.
  • Completing changeovers, CIP’s, PMs, cleaning and sanitizing tools/equipment as directed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required.
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations.
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment.
  • Fixing issues that might occur during the shift.
  • Maintaining activity logs.
  • Training new personnel on proper operational procedures.
  • Supporting food safety, legality, and quality programs.
