About The Position
The Equipment Operator sets up and operates a wide variety of equipment and performs work according to specifications. The role is safety sensitive and requires strict compliance with safety rules and protocols. Employees may be subject to pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable-suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous experience.
- Strictly comply with applicable safety rules and protocols.
- Have or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for business air travel or access to federal property.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in compliance with company operating procedures.
- Verify equipment is in working order, including tooling and safety mechanisms.
- Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment.
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning activities.
