About The Position
Join Waste Connections as a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Landfill in Weatherford, TX. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment at our solid waste landfill. We work in an environment where empowered, self-directed All-stars know what they do is important. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Spreading and compacting trash.
- Spreading cover using a Dozer
- Excavating soil using an excavator
- Maintaining haul roads using a grader
- Load waste at Transfer Station into transport trailers using wheel loader and excavator
- Litter picking and general labor
- Hauling soil
- Work in a fast paced, team environment
- Follow safe operating practices
- Operate D6T dozer, Wheel Loader, ADT Haul Truck, Motor Grader, Excavator, Sweeper, Water Truck, Skid Steer
