About The Position

This is a safety-sensitive position responsible for receiving, storing, recycling, shipping, and transporting warehoused goods and products. The operator may be required to perform all duties of Material Handler B and supports inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy research. The role requires using motorized equipment and radio-frequency equipment, handling and repairing products or equipment, and processing recyclable materials according to customer specifications.

The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, maintain regular and punctual attendance, interact appropriately with employees and customers, complete assigned work in a timely manner, and comply with company policies and procedures. Requirements

• Sufficient formal education to read, comprehend, and act upon verbal and written information.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to comply with the YLA Core Competencies: Problem Solving & Decision Making, Accountability & Responsibility, Communication, Collaboration & Teamwork, and Customer Focus.
• High school diploma or GED and/or six months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Material Handler B as required.
• Operate motorized equipment, including forklifts, clamps, cherry-pickers, and motorized pallet jacks.
• Use radio-frequency (RF) equipment to track products.
• Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials, or equipment.
• Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials according to customer specifications.
• Conduct daily cycle counts.
• Research inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Interact with employees and customers appropriately.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
