About The Position

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift or other powered material handling equipment to move, stack, or pick and pull merchandise. Work may include all phases of warehousing, depending on business needs, including shipping, receiving, inventorying, product repackaging, palletizing, and forklift operation. The role works the night shift Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Requirements

At least 6 months of verifiable work experience within the prior 36 months operating material handling equipment required for the role, such as a sit-down or stand-up forklift, reach truck, or cherry/order picker.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to carry and climb a ladder and stand and walk for extended periods, including at least 2 hours straight, four times during an 8-hour day.
Ability to perform frequent twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder level, and crouching, and to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards, and perform daily inspections and maintenance.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using powered material handling equipment and applicable attachments.
Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading and shipments.
Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers or containers.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Perform pick-and-pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory control and security measures.
Assist with physical inventories as needed.
