Requirements

Class 3 Driver’s License with airbrake endorsement is preferred, or a valid Class 5 License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Experience operating radial boom derrick (RBD)/digger derrick, mini-excavator, skid-steer, and other heavy equipment.
Experience in shallow utility installation is preferred.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification is preferred.
Occupational First Aid (OFA) levels I, II and/or III is preferred.
Fall protection certification is an asset.
Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Operating various equipment like RBD/digger derrick, bucket truck, crane, excavator/backhoe, skid steer, forklift, plate compactor, jumping jack, dump trailer, pickup truck/flat deck, and arrow truck (training provided).
Perform general labour tasks including hand shoveling, trenching, backfilling, installing street light and traffic signal foundations, laying cables and installing conduits, and completing landscaping and road surface cleanup.
Coordinating pick up, delivery, and handling of stock materials to designated job sites.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Assist with traffic control duties when required.
Travel as needed based on project needs.
Work night shifts on occasion as required.

Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $28.00 to $38.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
