About The Position

The Night Equipment Operator is responsible for picking and locating stock using wire-guided Turret trucks and Order Picking vehicles. This role requires working steadily to meet established timelines, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and product picking, and updating stock records on the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The operator will work independently to meet department standards and report any discrepancies to their supervisor or lead. Reliability and adherence to established shift schedules are crucial. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a hand-held computer.
• Strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to operate Walkie Rider, Counter Balance, Turret Truck, and Order Picker vehicles.
• PC and RF knowledge helpful.
• Math skills - High school level.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Good attendance.
• Good work ethic.
• Trouble shooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pick stock within established timelines.
• Verify stock counts and properly locate and pick product using warehouse vehicles.
• Update stock records on WMS utilizing computers on trucks and RF monitors.
• Work independently to meet established department standards.
• Report any discrepancies or problems to supervisor or lead.
• Be dependable in working established shift schedules.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
